Spirits | Falling upwards

2 September – 8 October 2022, Brunnen Railway Station

The photographs in these seemingly small telephone booths appear overpowering. They are sparsely lit, and shimmer out onto the pavement. Noises bubble through the glass doors – mere fragments of sound, mysterious and muffled, swelling and ebbing. People sit on the benches nearby, waiting. An observation room is created in which you can immerse yourself and sharpen your senses. It’s an invitation to pause in the hubbub of a railway station.
